Four Noble Truths (Buddhism)
1.) All human life is suffering (dhukka ).
2.) All suffering is caused by human desire, particularly the desire that impermanent things be permanent.
3.) Human suffering can be ended by ending human desire.
4.) Desire can be ended by following the “Eightfold Noble Path”: right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration.
Live Your Best Life!

Welcome to a video about living your best life and being your best self!
What I like to do is sit down and make a list of habits. These habits either bring me closer to being my best self, having my full health and vitality, or pull me away. If they pull me away from my best self then I know to stay away from them.
I recommend you create this list and follow it because your best life demands that you be a good manager of your time and energy. You have to manage your energy like an athlete and do the things that bring you to your highest health and vitality. You also have to know when to rest, relax and recharge. When you take great care of yourself, your energy is very high which is akin to raising your vibration. When your vibration is raised, you are a vibrational match to all those really big wonderful things you want to attract into your life. If your vibration is low and your energy is low, you will attract things that are of that low vibratory state. If your vibration is high you are going to attract more than the things you asked for. All kinds of goodies you never expected can flow into your life experience.
My list looks like this:
1. Do my spiritual practice everyday: meditation, yoga, prayer, chanting, etc…
2. Get up early: I have difficulty with getting up early (I LOVE sleep) which is why I am doing this video at 5am. Someone gave me a piece of advice which is to jump out of bed within 5 seconds of the alarm going off. I have been doing that and immediately after I get up, I exercise to wake myself up. This has been working well so far.
3. Diet/ nutrition: Keep my diet on point and eat live raw foods.
4. Limit my intake of intoxicants, drinking and smoking and things like that. I am the healthiest and I feel the best when I respect my body temple.
There are other things that help me live my best life but those are the main things. If I do them daily then my energy is through the roof.
Sit down and make a list of things that bring you to your best life and do them. If you say, “Oh my God, this is too much,” well, this is the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people. Successful people are willing to do what unsuccessful people will not. You have to be doing these things with consistency, everyday basically.

Some of you have been asking why I haven’t been posting any videos lately.
As we speak, my web designers are working to move the spiritual section of ChinaBrooks.com to FutureSoBright.org. ChinaBrooks.com will once again be strictly for my acting stuff. FutureSoBright.org will be the place where you can get your daily dose of spiritual love. =)
My current YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/chinabrooks) will be strictly for acting. All the current spiritual videos on that channel will be moved over to www.youtube.com/futuresobrightdotorg. Any new spiritual videos will be posted at www.youtube.com/futuresobrightdotorg. Please go ahead and subscribe to www.youtube.com/futuresobrightdotorg, especially if you are already a subscriber of my China Brooks channel.
All of this will be done no later than two weeks from now, probably sooner. I’m super excited to post new content on the FutureSoBright.org site!! I’ve got some great stuff for you, including some personal, inspirational celebrity stories.

What’s My True Purpose?

Have you ever wondered what your true purpose in life is? Do you want a career doing the things you love and are passionate about?
Make a list of things you would pay to do. These will be things that bring you joy. My list says:
Acting, Blogging, Making Videos, Coaching/ Counseling People, 30 Day Trials (To Better My Life), Improving Myself, Writing, and Organizing My House/ Making It Nice
I basically spend my free (and paid) time doing everything on this list. Since they are all things I would pay to do (they bring me joy), I never get bored. When things get challenging, such as the learning curve to being a successful blogger, I still keep going because it’s something I am passionate about.
So there you have it! Make a list of things you would pay to do and do them!
What would I pay to do?
What brings me joy?
What moves me closer to my Divine Purpose?

I will be updating the blog later today. Lots of changes are going on behind the scenes which is why I have been M.I.A.
This blog and the entire spiritual section of ChinaBrooks.com will be moving to a new home within the next month. The new site is called FutureSoBright.org because your future is so bright other people need to put on sunglasses. I will no longer be calling myself a “spiritual counselor” but a “SHINE ACTIVIST,” because I want you (and me) to shine as brightly as we possibly can! =)
I just started up a new YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/futuresobrightdotorg) and I will be uploading all the spiritual videos to that channel from now on. ChinaBrooks.com will be strictly for my acting stuff, as will www.youtube.com/chinabrooks. Luckily, this blog can be transferred over to the new site without me having to re-load any of the previous content (thank God!). However, I will have to re-upload all of my YouTube videos to the new Future So Bright channel (www.youtube.com/futuresobrightdotorg) which will take some time. I have started a Future So Bright Facebook Business Page but I will wait until the new site is done to really get that going.
ChinaBrooks.com and Future So Bright will be run under China Brooks International, LLC. There will be other companies to come later under China Brooks International, LLC., but this is what’s happening right now. Although my blog updates have been infrequent as of late, that will change. I greatly appreciate your patience and understanding while I go through this transition. I have tons of content waiting for you. I have a 3,000 word post on Chakras. I have another series titled Help! I Hate Paying Bills. I have a post that takes a look at Unconditional Love v. Conditional Love, etc…
When Future So Bright is up and running, there will be a free e-zine (newsletter) and a free meditation mp3. Big changes, I just have to be patient for them to unfold. Sometimes I’m like the chick in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory demanding, “I want it NOW!”
