When I was two years old, I told my mother that I wanted to go home, “home” meaning back to the Divine.  I have always been very intuitive and able to “see through” people, sensing their deepest desires, dreams, and fears.  However, I resisted my mother’s attempts to get me into her spiritual practices, and in my teens I rebelled against what I considered to be her “airy-fairy bullshit.” At 15 my mother sent me to learn yoga to calm me down, and at my first Holotropic Breathwork session at 19, I learned to meditate.  After seeing the obvious benefits, I decided to start my own practice.  When I was 22, I cracked open a yoga book called The Five Tibetans, which my mother had given to me at 17 but had sat on my bookshelf, untouched, for years.  Thus began my lifelong practice of the Five Tibetans, which I believe to be a source of youthfulness.

Also at that time I began to practice yoga and open eye meditation with a group of Buddhist monks at the Kanzeonji Non-Sectarian Buddhist Temple in Mt. Washington, California.  I once meditated for 7.5 hours with my monk friends.  I was invited to become a member of their temple, which is a huge honor only bestowed upon those who practice with intense regularity and sincere integrity.  If you hear me talk about my Osho, I am referring to the Master of the Kanzeonji Temple.  He still tries to get me to learn how to stand on my head, which one day, I will.

Since then I have participated in numerous solo and group meditations, with the intention of uplifting my vibration and the vibration of the planet as a whole. I have even taken part in an experiment in which a group of meditators took into ourselves a balanced, masculine and feminine light energy, which was new to the planet.

In 2000 I traveled to Tibet and began my studies to become a Spiritual Counselor under the great OC Smith, founder of The City of Angels Church of Religious Science. In 2002 I obtained my Professional Practitioner license. During this time I simultaneously studied Reiki and in 2003 I became a Level II Reiki Practitioner.

I have decades of spiritual practice under my belt via meditation, yoga, journaling (as a healing modality), breathing and grounding meditation techniques, dream interpretation, goal/ intention setting, chanting, mudras (yoga for your hands), decrees, chakra balancing, working with crystals, divination cards, prayer, and the study of countless books, as well as other spiritual and religious practices. Of course there are times when my practice has been stronger than others; however, I have studied so much that my spiritual foundation will always remain strong.

Because of the intensity and regularity of my practice, topics of conversation that others often find too deep are the perfect intensity for me.  I have always been the one family and friends (and even strangers) have come to when they need someone to support them spiritually, someone to help them make sense of their dreams and their lives.  My own personal dreams are very intuitive, psychic, and often prolific. Many people come to me in dreams, especially those who have trouble spiritually expressing themselves in day to day life.

I have always been dedicated to my spiritual practice. However, it took great courage on my part to become focused on serving others through an absolute commitment to whole and healthy living.  When one has such a deep practice, the next natural step is to share that knowledge and experience with others, so their lives can become happier and better as well.

As part of my commitment to spiritually counseling you, in addition to continuing my consistent spiritual practice, I am living my best life, writing and editing blog articles, filming informational videos, and talking walks near my home in Studio City, California.
