Creating Systems and Machines

by China Brooks

This video is about creating systems to help your life run smoothly. At first, creating systems is a lot of work. But eventually, once these systems are in place, they begin to work for you. Then, they simply require routine maintenance. When that happens, you have created a machine! Systems and machines are key for optimal living.

To learn more about how to build and maintain systems and machines in your own life, book a coaching session with me. Email ChinaBrooks@gmail.com

Goal Setting

How, When, and Where are None of Our Business

When we set out to achieve goals sometimes we worry about how and when it will happen.  The how and when is none of our business, that business is for the Universe.  This business is ours:

1. Be crystal clear and unwavering.

Pick a goal and stick with it.  Give no thought and energy to vacillating.  We wouldn’t order a pair of size 8 shoes and then say, “Maybe I want a size 11?  No, I think I want a size 9?”  Let’s make up our minds.  We are allowed, of course, to change our minds anytime we decide we want something else.  However, truly achieving a goal takes an obsessive, compulsive focus. Consistency is key. When we vacillate back and forth, we weaken the momentum of the energy behind what we have asked for.

“The combination of strong desire for what is coming and avid, compulsive practiced appreciation for what is will leave you in a place of living happily ever after forever more.” – Abraham Hicks

2. Visualize from the heart center.

The mind is dual in nature (positive/ negative, good/ bad).  If we use our limited minds to visualize our goals, we will not only manifest our desires, but its polar opposite.  We can avoid this by visualizing from our heart center.

3. See the end result.  [Read more...]

My Life Book

Life Book
DECEMBER 2, 2011 by China Brooks

What Is A Life Book?

“Anything of substance needs a blueprint to follow; a map, a guide, clarity on the steps, integration. You have to have a plan to accomplish the vision or it is just a dream.” –Life Book

Life Book contains the entirety of what we desire our lives to look like. It’s a plan of focus, creation, manifestation, and action. It helps us on our path to know we know where we are headed and to see how far we’ve come.

I first heard about Life Book from Vishen over at Finer Minds. He did a video on it called the 12 Areas of Balance. Immediately after watching that video I created my own Life Book (I’m crafty like that). When my Life Book was complete, I began reading it every morning and evening coupled with imagination (visualization) and emotion.

Why Is Life Book Great?

Life Book gives me clarity, which for me makes it easier to manifest the life I really want. In the “Intellectual Life” section of my Life Book for 2010/2011 I wrote, “I have attended all major workshops and seminars…” I listed a few, one of which was Finer Minds. In the career section of my Life Book I wrote, “I book acting jobs where I am paid to travel and learn new things…”

About a week (literally) after reading my Life Book morning and evening, my life began to change in extraordinary ways. Out of the blue, I was offered a juicy, paid acting role, which shot in Brazil and required me to learn how to scuba dive and work with knives. The same week, I was given a ticket to a Finer Minds seminar in Costa Rica. My air fair and hotel were included!

The Vortex

The Vortex (photo by China Brooks)

As I’m creating this blog article, it’s 11:11am (of course). I’m inside The Vortex.  :)

What Is The Vortex?

What is the Vortex? To be in the Vortex means that we are aligned with Source energy. Call it God, Infinite Intelligence, or whatever we want. It means we are in the flow and stream of our well being. It’s much easier to hear and follow our intuition and higher guidance. Things magically come to us. We are happy, we feel good. We are connected with Source.

How to Get Into the Vortex

There are many ways to get into the Vortex. Filling our spiritual gas tank is one way. We can do this by spending our time on whatever makes us FEEL GOOD: creating art, yoga, meditation, walking, being in nature. There are countless ways to uplift our energetic vibration. Aside from doing what makes us feel good, here’s an exercise we can do to get inside The Vortex… [Read more...]
